Default License plate LEDS

Does anyone know how to remove the screws that hold the license plate lights? I bought LEDs and can not remove the hex screw holding the bulbs in place. Thanks!!

Its not actually a screw it's a peice that is like what holds the parking lights in. Took me over an hour to figure this out. I used a small flat head and start to pry alittle and used the torx to back it out a bit b4 i pulled it out by hand.

On mine it was just two phillips head screws. However they still had to be pried out while being unscrewed at the same time.
