SC Bumper Swap

I looked at the swap guide but there is hardly any info on body panels. Will a front bumper from a 97-00 sc bolt up to a 02 sc1 front end? What other body parts are swappable between the years?

single exterior body panels don't swap well between generations, at least not as an easy bolt up, as bumper,fender and door lines changed.

It has been done at least once (think it was a 2nd gen coupe front on a 2nd gen sedan?) but took some work.

I think Low Saturn said you could take all the body panels (hood, bumper, fender, doors, rear quarters and trunk lid) from a 99-00 3 door coupe and put them on the 00-02, but you can't swap just the bumper and have it look right (headlights and hood are also different.

A common change to '97-'00 SC's is to take the headlights & hood from a '01-'02 SC. So going the other way should work too.

Pretty sure any single panel will swap '97-'02, BUT! the side panels & trunk all have different body lines so it'll look odd/bad if you don't do them all. The trunk might swap okay, depending on how the duck-tail spoiler is setup, without swapping the rest of the panels.

I believe CopperTop on sixthsphere did the SC front end onto a SW mod, basically cut the front fenders in half from both cars, kept the 4dr back half and the 2dr front half and melded them together. Looks tons better than it sounds, but I can't find the pictures anymore.
