Thought I'd share my story. As I cleaned up the kitchen from a pile of family over yesterday and my kids having their 1st Christmas morning where they are old enough to understand what's really going on, I noticed a little water under the sink.

I was poking about lightly to see how high the water was coming from then, BOOM! Some el cheapo cold water fauctet feeder line extension popped out of it's connector and started shooting full pressure cold straight up and out. After a Christmas expletive, I made a mad dash to the basement and killed the main valve. Missus Velleguy73 had chucked whatever towels she had on hand and bolted for the shopvac. 20 minutes later, all cleaned up and the fan's going. It may have gotten 20-30 sec of water <I haven't run that fast in a while> but the damage was minimal. Thank God we were home, this would have eventually popped on it's own.

My girls barely noticed as they were engrossed in some puzzles.

Looks like we are going to get a new faucet for boxing day. Oh yeah, for those applicable,

Saturns rule. ... 98 SL2 5th gear swap- .643 gear 245,000 miles 215/45 17" I burn about a quart about every 1500 miles. If it ain't broke, fix it some more.
