The A/C valve cores on the Vue have this odd big ball on the tip. I have several A/C core drivers but none can get over this odd end. I've not seen this in the other Saturn A/Cs I've worked on. I think I loosened the low side a bit because my gauge set spins as they depress the cores. Normally I just verify both cores after removing the gauges.
Is there a "fat tip" core tool for the Vue? Btw I bought the $120 rebuild kit last summer when my compressor went out. It included the dryer, compressor and the TXV. Fired the system up for the first time this year and it was freezing cold. This is the third kit I've bought from this company and all have worked well. It's Chinese gear. -Robert |
