I recently had all my brake hoses replaced at a local shop as a preventative measure and now I noticed a grinding nose when I turn sharply left or right. I believe this is because the new hoses were installed 180 degrees out of the correct position with the loop facing the front vs. back. Does anyone have a picture from the Saturn FSM they could send me of the proper routing I can use to give the shop?
I'd like to have them correct the problem on their nickel. |

The brake line loop should be facing the rear of the car.

Front gets looped to the rear, rear gets sent to the middle.

Thanks a ton, fetchitfido, just what the doctor ordered!!!!
Hopefully I won't get any guff from the shop, but given how rarely I've had the car in the shop in the past 25 years, it's kinda sad to see such a mess-up. Most everything else I've done myself with the help from Old Nuc (RIP), RichPin, and others! Oh well! |

The caliper needs to come off and be rotated 360 degrees to make the brake line tuck in behind the strut rear facing.
