2002 SL2
Default Wasp nest behind mirror…

Another wasp nest behind the drivers side mirror…

Seems like the ideal location…

Fun to watch them crawl out and try to hang on while you do 70 down the highway…

Thanks for the reminder. I think I'm going to start driving my SC2 again, and I'll look out for those devils.

Spray some wasp and hornet killer in there. It'll put a kink in their daily routine, and they wont come back.

I tend to have some roaming near my cars. I should take a look there, just in case!

Just be warned, if they do hang off after a highway right they are generally fairly pissed off when you get out of the car. Been there, done that!

I've not had that experience in some time - the insects are having a rough
time surviving in my developed area: The cicada/locust events are no longer a thing on Long Island, NY.

My experience was that virtually any type of canned spray:
--WD-40, penetrating oils, cleaning solvents, paint--
they all mercilessly mess with the wing functionality.
