2008 VUE 2.4L
Default P0016, Won't start

I've researched this on this forum, YT and anywhere else I can find info. I've got a 2.4, 200K miles. I've owned 1.5 yr. Was getting p0016 Checked oil, which was low, but didn't get warning light. In my very tired state, accidentally bought and put in 2 qt of 5-40, instead of 5-30. Didn't realize until I threw the bottles away. Started having dogging issues, especially on hills. Got worse. Four days ago, couldn't start. Installed new CVV solenoids. Got it working. But really doggy. On flat roads it ran fine. But dropped so low on hills, someone's conking out. Last night I was going to do a flush, but after stopping, couldn't get it started again. Today, same thing. 0016 code continues (after clearing. I use Torque Pro). Cleaned the MAF sensor properly. Noticed that the air intake at the throttle body wasn't secure. Secured it. Omw screw on the air filter wasn't completely down. Tightened it. Obviously, I want careful enough after relaxing the solenoids. Anyway, turns over(cranks), won't start. I'm desperate, because of finances and mechanical skills. Any ideas. And like I said, I've been reading a lot on this.

Will it start if you use starting fluid?

Spray some f;uid into the intake and then crank it to see if it starts.

Did you find this thread among threads in these forums? http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=232060. The timing chain jumped, destroyed a plastic chain guide and repaired successfully. There are other threads too but this one may be more helpful.
