Wrench tips on fixing a sl2 2000 saturn, with a coolant leak, near the right front tire

I went to a radiator repair shop, then they just ripped me off.

I still have he leak by the front right tire.

Any tips on plugging the leak will be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean the puddle of coolant is near the right front tire? You might have a leak in the reservoir or a loose/cracked hose if that is the case.

Check the water pump.

I'll bump it to +2 on the water pump. With the engine running, you should be able to see coolant dripping from under the pump.

I've done a couple of these on my 99 S-cars and this link has been helpful:

http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24144

I've gotten my pumps at AutoZone and they've done fine. I'd also recommend that you consider replacing your serpentine belt while you have everything torn apart anyway. I got that part from the dealer.

The last time I swapped a pump, I used the air compressor and impact ratchet to get at some of the bolts on the pulley and the pump housing. It's definitely a tight squeeze in some of those spots. Have patience!

You can't see the coolant/water pouring out the shaft on the water pump? May indicate it's another part of the cooling system...but it should be just as obvious as water pouring out the shaft on the water pump or out the gasket where the pump mates to the block.

I believe most of the bolts are 10mm, the tensioner is 14mm, lug nuts are 19mm (might be easier to go through the wheel well), and you'll need something to hold the water pump pulley in place so you can get the 3 bolts out to get to the other 6-8 that hold the pump in.
...
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)

Leave the belt on until you get the bolts loose

First off that's not an overflow. It's a pressurized part of the cooling system. You probably have a crack in the reservoir. Pull it so you can get a good look at it then head to the U-Pull-It for another one.

There is nothing more frightening than ignorance in action.
