Default Wire replacement for the Vapor Canister Vent Valve

Hi guys, I have a saturn ion 2007, have the code P0449. Upon checking the vapor canister vent valve, the cable chewed off ... So I ordered the HARNESS 19257603 but it is way too short. What is the original wire harness for this vent valve?

It's not well known except to industry insiders but some vehicle wiring uses vegetable products in the insulation that attracts animals. This explains members finding their wiring chewed, leaving exposed or broken wires.

If you're familiar with soldering, can you just add extension wires and finish with shrink tubing for a weather resistant repair. If soldering wires isn't possible, butt connectors work with either larger shrink tubing or sealing with general purpose silicone seal. Refrain from using electrical tape as the adhesive softens summer and engine heat with tape unraveling after a year or so, leaving a sticky mess.
