Went to Pull-A-Part yesterday and scored a 1st gen dash to replace the one I had with broken clips and a hole in it. Shined it up and installed this morning. From now on, I'll be the only one removing that dash!

Installed Hella Micro DE fog lights on my SC1. It took a small bit of cutting with sheet metal snips, but it's invisible unless laying on one's back and looking up into the bumper. These babies sure do project!

Washed it. Then applied '303 Aerospace Protectant' to the exterior plastic/rubber trim, followed by '303 Speed Detailer' all over. My baby looks soooo beautiful!
I plan to do the interior tomorrow.

Found out the trunk light comes on when I brake

I've started playing hockey, and unfortunately my equipment bag doesn't fit right in the trunk, have ta put the seat down. While braking I caught some light in my rear view mirror, and looked back with the seat down to see the bulb on.

Lolwut?

Was not my Saturn, belonged to the Nurse helping take care of my Mom.

Changed air filter, topped off brake and power steering.
Filled windshield washer tank.
Added 2 and 1/2 quarts of oil, still not to the top of the dipstick...just below full.

Went to my local pull a part and got the fender and 3rd door skin for my car. Got them primed, painted, and clear coated. Now I have to mount them, wet sand and buff them! Couldn't find cranberry paint, found about as close as I'm gonna get though.

Drove to the store and turned on the wipers and only the driver side was sweeping. Finally, something to fix! I got out to investigate when I got to the store and passenger wiper arm is firmly attached but the motor mechanism swings free. Something to look up here and take care of. At least the driver side works but I'll take care of this ASAP.

Firefighters did me a favor by accidentally knocking off the license plate holder (BOX!) on the front of SEGA. I opened a building door for them because there was a fire in that building (I had NO clue until they all rolled up). On my way back to the car (I, the fool, left my DSLR home, so I couldn't even take pics for a paper or news) I notice my plate chillin on the windshield wiper and just started laughing. Glad to finally be rid of the damn thing. I have my plate in the trunk, might just ziptie it for now since NYC needs front plates (drove all day without it, and around tons of cops, no one gives a )

I picked up a spoiler from a fellow Toronto member named 95SaturnSL(?) after seeing his ad on Kijiji. Same factory blue-black colour so I don't have to paint it!

Turns out he's a Saturn fan and although he sold his '95 SL, he still has a 2002 SC2 and 2007 Vue Redline which I got to check out.

...and here's a pic of that spoiler on my old SL. The SL's long gone, the spoiler's now passed on to good hands and a fellow forum member with another nice SL. Me I've moved on to VUE redline section, with a really nice 02 SC2 as well.
