Default Headlight swap.

I finally found a photo of a car with these headlights. I don't think they look that bad. I may just have to pick these up.

crappy little buggers. At least a couple people have reported buying those, having leds quit and the seller won't do anything about it, and the "projectors" result in worse light output than stock headlights.

Probably good to keep away from, this is their sales policy.

-All sales are final, items are sold on "As is" basis, no warranty coverage is expressed or implied unless otherwise stated in the product description.

-Products selling in OptionRacing.com are solely for auto trade shows, display/off-road vehicles only; unless stated DOT/SAE approved. Public road and highway uses are strictly restricted and prohibited. We are not responsible for any illegal issues that caused by the improper usage of our products. Please be sure to verify with your local/state department/DMV if our products are allowed before placing your order.

The best thing you can do is retro fit your own projectors in, Angel eyes are sexy, but you could just go HIDs.

IMO, if you're wanting to do something to your car for about that price range to make it look better, start looking in the local junkyards for some painted bumpers that match your car. Would make the car look 100x better, and would actually last.

Right there.

There are people who own cars that only go to car shows and never see the street.

And there are people that take their cars to car shows and then put parts on them for the show only and put the "street" part back on afterwards.

when i think of show car i think of a car with all original parts. when i see these beautiful old cars at car shows, i hate it when i see them with those stupid wide tires, or any other major change to their appearance than factory...

anyway, it's probably going to be a while before a saturn becomes a classic show car!

Funny, I thought the same thing about Chevettes and VW Beetles, and now you can't find a decent example of either cheap. S-series cars, especially first gen S-series cars, WILL be collectible classic cars, and it will be sooner than you think. Heck, even K-Cars are starting to strike a nostalgia nerve in some people.

Not "Barrett Jackson" classic, and not "Priced three times as high as it should be because it's a Mustang or Camaro" classic, but certainly along the lines of VW Beetles, Ford Falcons, Plymouth Valiants, etc. In other words, not the "I wish I had one of those when it was new, but couldn't afford it" cars, but the "I HAD one of those when new, and loved it" cars.

That was going to be my question - cool looking, and not really a bad price (angel eye conversions for my DD Passat run $200+ too), but are they any good as lights? My Passat, however, has crappy low beams, which I modded to make acceptable, while the lights on our SL2 are better than average in the post-sealed beam era even with a fair amount of stone pitting and the original, 10year old bulbs in them. HIDs are another matter - I've only driven with them in an S2K and a Envoy, but they were great. I hate them coming at me, but they're great to drive with

They may be up front, but this return policy is probably not legal - almost everywhere in North America state or provincial laws will mandate minimum 30 day return or exchange rights for buyers, at least in the case of defective or unsatisfactory merchandise.

you would'nt think of a Fiero as a collector's car, but i knew a person who had a 1984 Fiero that was new with the original plastic over the seats & never driven sitting in his garage. don't know if he still has it, but something like that probably would be worth something just because of it's condition....

and probably has tons of rotten seals from sitting unused for 25 years. Still cool, but not "wow, that's like brand new" if you have any thoughts of driving it.

you know those look pretty cool.... but.... when you think about it you can always replace led's and projector lenses but with all the $$ it cost's on top of doing all that it is just really unpractical on a DD unless you absolutely love those lights and don't care about cost i would pass...

i know there was a guy on sixth sphere that was making lights for people and they looked really really nice i cant remember his name though
