Default 3rd gen SL to SC headlight swap

Has anyone ever tried swapping the headlights from a 3rd gen SC to a 3rd gen SL? I'm not sure if the shape of the headlights would fit with the curve of the bumper where the headlight and bumper meets. of course the top wouldn't fit right either. Could you directly swap the hoods from both cars? or would it require fabrication?

The lights and SC hood will bolt up and line up, but the fabrication would be on the front fascia. SC headlamps are deeper than the sedan/wagon.

Someone has put a second gen SC2 front end on a second gen wagon. It came out pretty nice.
