Car was running fine then just suddenly died and has not started since. It cranks but does not even attempt to start. I had it towed home and since replaced plugs, wires, coils, ignition module, cps sensor, and ignition switch. none of this has made one bit of difference. The battery is good. I can hear the fuel pump kick on and checked the fuel pump relay am I missing something any suggestions? Please help I'm out of ideas! It is a 1999 Saturn sl2 stick shift Thank you

Hearing the fuel pump is only an initial troubleshooting guide. This does not verify injector operation, spraying pressurized fuel thru each injector. Spark is another test. One or the other may be missing and one way to tell would be spraying starting fluid into the throttle body and see if the engine starts up. With several failed starting attempts, keep in mind the battery may run down. Recharge the battery. You can remove spark plugs to examine them for fuel as several failed starts should have plugs soaked in fuel.
Are there any blown fuses? |

Ok i will try that tomorrow. The plugs do have fuel on them i put the battery on the charger just in case. I don't think it's getting spark but what could be causing that after all I've changed? Thank you
