Default Spark Plug Electrodes were WHITE!

I went to do a compression test and when I pulled my plugs, the electrodes were literally WHITE! I read that this is carbon deposits caused by a clogged air filter (or basically too much fuel) Well..I DID have FILTHY air filter on there and recently actually put an actual INTAKE on...so maybe that's what made them dirty. BTW: They're Bosch Platinum Plugs.
