Default Sound system vibration question

i got a pretty sweet ( for me ) sound system in my 95 sl2, 12inch woofer 4 tweeters 4 mids, and a homemade woofer box. but when i crank the tunes, the vibration in the trunk drives me CRAZY, at first it was my box that i made that was vibrating like hell, but now that i secured it w wood glue and screws and such the box itself is fine, but the TRUNK ITSELF vibrates and makes like a squeeking noise/ vibrating noise and i HATE when people roll by w bass and ugly vibrations

so does anyone have decent solutions to this?

Alot of the time your rear license plate will rattle like hell and it sounds terrible. I have two 12's fiberglassed in the trunk with 4 mids and 2 tweeters... use Dynomating behind the license plate to stop that rattle...
As far as other rattles, I havent heard them, so I'm not sure where they are coming from.

Along with the license plate, the trunk top can also vibrate. Between the support cross beams, the thin metal can vibrate. If you are using dynamat or its equivalent, put some on those sections of the lid and it should help.

I know my spoiler vibrates too, so that could be something that is causing some of the noise if you have one. But the only solution I really know of are the ones stated above.

Ah. My trunk vibrates, too. I fixed the license plate, but the lid did, too. Now I know what it is. I hope.

I had 2 really powerful 10's in a ported box in my trunk, and i tried dynamat on the top, the plate was fine.
i had 2 things rattling one was the top of the back bumper and the other was the 2 light holders over the license plate.
Check there, check the bumper by just pushing on the top, to c if the noise stops
