2008 Astra XR
Default ODB Port?

Well I'm pretty sure I screwed the pooch on this one.

A while ago I broke off the OBD port while I was cleaning the car. Just vacuuming down by the clutch and my elbow took that thing out. I am trying to find the part number for it. The wires are still all good down there. The box had some wires tear out of it and I was planning on fixing it, but the plastic part is now lost (pretty sure the wife threw it out).

Anyone know the part number for this? I can solder the wires back myself so all I need is the plastic part? Any ideas?

Didn't you post this last month? As we answered then, the best thing to help you would be to take the car to the dealership and let them give you a quote. This will include the part number form the parts dept. That should help you.

Yeah, went to the dealer and of course they gave me the "we don't know that much about the car." Parts guys can't find the part. etc.

If Saturn dealerships had better service I doubt I would have to come on here to ask this question again.

Only thing I've hated about all my Saturns, dealing with Saturn after the sale.

Definitely true. The Saturn dealer in Clearwater (off Gulf To Bay Blvd) has been very good to me. They even pulled my custom stereo system including 2 amps, 2 sets of components, a sub, and a cap and gave it to me. They also put the factory system back in.
