How do I connect a wire to the battery?
I have the Saturn SL2 1996 and I am trying to install an amplifier. Everything was going well until I attempted to connect the positive wire to the battery. Please help.

Use vice-grips to help remove the stock positive battery terminal bolt and replace it with something that looks/acts like this: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...uestid=1009533

The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a manual |

Alternatively you can tap into the main positive bolt at the UHJB. it's free and easy.
DON'T FORGET TO ALSO USE A FUSE HOLDER IN LINE WITH THE NEW POWER LEAD.

I use something similar to what's in madpogue's link. Keep in mind the ring terminals that go around the posts have a wire gauge as well. You usually have to look around a bit to find the 8 or less gauge rings.
