Password problem

I cannot find my password for the forum. I am going to have to get a new device in the next couple days. How do I retrieve my password?

Firefox: Tools -> Options -> Privacy & Security -> Saved Logins
Chrome: Settings -> Passwords
Internet Explorer: Internet Options -> Content tab -> AutoComplete -> Settings -> Manage Passwords
Edge: Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Manage Passwords
Safari: Preferences -> Passwords.

I love FF...but they bury the password lookup almost as deep as IE :/

Mobile is similar on Android...no idea on iOS.

Not anymore, don't recall which FF version this started with but the hamburger menu has it now

Well, this is toggenburg, I am back, well sort of, as a new member again.

It's weird, but somehow, i am fully locked out of my regular avatar and membership account and after several emails I cannot raise anything out of Charlie to get back in. Says his mailbox is full.

I have used the "reset password' setup several times and it kicks me back out.
Being a member for 10 years+, and now this new saddle just doesn't feel right.

It's almost like someone said to Charlie that the original toggenburg had violated membership rules (which I don't believe I ever did or ever would).

Thoughts? Or anyone recall what I may have done to be kicked to the curb?

Hey - don't count me out quite yet...

I been busy deer hunting. No luck so far.

I had to use the puter here at the house to retrieve new password - which I obviously finally did.

what happens when you try to reset password on your old account? Do you get an email with a link?

I think you get locked out if you enter an incorrect password too many times but AFAIK, that's temporary and you can try again later.

Did that reset link multiple times, but it always rejected me.
I used my correct password, It seems that whenever the link 'recognized' my account email ID, it kicked me out.
5 resets and you need to wait 15 min before retry.
I did this 5-set sequence over a 2 week period, until I realized I was completely locked out and no way back in as my toggenburg avatar.
So, emailed Charlie from same email and that message always comes back as UNDELIVERABLE.
So, generated new toggenburg. member ID, with a totally different account email. It took it a-ok, and can email to Charlie without any blocking issue...but Charlie has not answered me at all.
So, from Master member status, now back down to 10 reputation points.

are you able to PM Charlie via your new account? Sounds impossible to reach by email.

I know he has a fresh young'un or two and a full time job, so is not able to devote a lot of time to the forum stuff and afaik, is doing it all on his own.

How do we know you are the real Toggenburg and not a Russian operative? I can see the operative torturing Toggenburg for his SaturnFans password, who then takes it to his death. For all we know you fed the real Toggenburg to the goats and are now fishing for the keys to the SaturnFans kingdom.

That's really creative, I would not ever thought of that !
On the serious side, tho, I PM's Charlie with all the stuff about toggenburg that only the real old goat/me and Charlie would know...
Alas, he must be really busy with a new little one on his hands...

I can recall taking the family nearby you, to the "Time Museum" in Rockford (before it closed in the 90's). That place was a hoot! My children recall alot from that place.

I might just reuse the blue-eyed avatar from toggenburg to the new toggenburg. account until (If ever) Charlie danes to restore me to my old/comfortable toggenburg shoes.
Oh, that's right, no shoes, just hooves.
