Just bought 2009 Vue- question

Hello every one- I just bought a new 2009 Vue on July 26th. and I was wondering- does anyone know what the brand name of the Stereo system is?

My old Saturn had a Bose- not sure what this one has?

So far- I really like most everything about it- would like to hear from others

as well to see how they are doing with theirs.

Congrat's on your VUE purchase. I did a few searches for that and came up empty.

I bought a 2005 VUE recently and am currently looking at upgrading the stereo as that year didn't have any AUX ports for ipods/mp3 players. However, as it stands on its own, I really like it. The bass response in it is amazing. I'm not sure how much of that is speakers and how much is the stereo (a little of both probably).

Most "bose" or any other brand of stereo systems means one of two things. Either a) the speakers were licensed by someone (meaning GM designed and built them, bose or whoever looked at them, signed off, and took a fat paycheck), or b) were already being produced by the company and so were tweaked slightly and got branded as such to make it a selling point (this happens a lot with pioneer and other aftermarket speaker companies - but don't think these speakers are aftermarket quality).

Pioneer and Clarion make a LOT of OEM speakers as well,car companies like to outsource things like that. I would be surprised if anyone other than Delphi made your speakers, they make more or less all the GM OEM speakers. Or is it Delco? Bah, it too early, damn differential equations.

Anyways, Bose doesn't typically make car speakers anyways, they usually design the system in some way and then sell their name. Most Bose setups I've heard sounded terrible however IMO.
