Rims for these cars are I will say rare compared to a bolt pattern like on the s series cars (that are also honda as well)

I bought my rims from discounttire.com and I was really impressed with them. Shipping was awesome and when they didn't have enough of one type of rim that I wanted they offered another set with a discount. Even when I choose a rim that was of lesser value they couldn't offer the discount but rather threw in the installation kit (chrome security lugs and hubs spacers for free!)

I really don't know where you are confused but I had no issue at all with my rims.

You pull the old wheels off and put the new wheels on. Wheels don't care whether you have studs and nuts or bolts.

205/65-15 (Original Equipment Tire Size 2001 LW300)
15 x 6 Wheel size
5 x 110mm Bolt Pattern
12mm x 1.5 Lug size
65.1mm Center bore (hole size)
Offset: 45

Only a handful of wheels available. You might get away with more common 15 x 6.5 on the wheels but the 5 x 110 is non-negotiable. I decided to refinish the original wheels by stripping off the old clear coat using aircraft stripper, priming with a self etching primer, painting with special wheel spray paint & clear coating with special wheel clear coat. The primer and silver wheel paint are available at Lowe's for $6-$7 a can. Figure 2 cans to be safe. Lot of people are using black for a custom look. Available at most auto parts stores.

My 2001 L300 came with Borbet 15X7 five spoke wheels (not stock of course) and 225/60/15s that are about .1" taller than the stock 205/65/15s and they work great. They also mount with no problems with the stud/nut combo just fine.

Anything that fits a Saab 9-3 or 9-5 will fit. I am running the wheels off my "retired" '99 9-5.

I also believe there was a Cadillac that had the same bolt pattern, a cetara iirc.

On mine, I have Chevy Cobalt 17" SS 5spoke ( which i believe are the 05-08model)205/50/17

Depending on your tire sizes you will figure out what will/wont rub your fender liners/splashguards while turning and driving.

There are definitely rims out there that will fit, just make sure the center bore will fit. As with mine... I did not have to machine the inner center bore out; however, It was carefully drum sanded till a snug fit.
