Default A really bad flat tow story, or how to ruin your new Jeep Wrangler

This story just boggled my mind. IMO, it's a reminder that one should really read everything in automobile owner's handbook to avoid a fiasco such as the one described in the story below.

Saw this on another forum. The carnage is real.

I wonder how many revs it actually turned before it started making the internals external? And I'd really be surprised if it wasn't rolling smoke off the tires when it happened as well. A low range ratio will really slow a vehicle down quick, so I'm guessing the RV had enough torque that they just accelerated through it.
