what whould cause my automatic seatbelts not work on my 94 sc1 the pass sid works fine and does it help if i say that it will go down cause i gave it a little push and it went up like 1 inch then i closed the dorr iand it went down but still no belt so any ideas?

Lubricate the seat belt track system. Start with WD-40 and then go to a light spray grease. THe WD-40 will help lube and loosen things up as well as cleaning up the tracks. If the belt has stuck in a middle position you may be to late to revive it.

Its a 13 year old electrical/machanical part that doesnt last forever.
If both sides didnt work, I'd say a fuse or controller module. Since only one side isnt working, the seatlect mechanism on that side is bad. Sometimes lubing it helps, but somehow I doubt any type of maintenence have ever been done to the tracks, so its way too late for that. Either replace it or convert the seatbelts over to the 1995 style and never worry about it again.
