Default 2007 vue 3.5 fuel drop issue

Hi, having an issue where fuel pressure (measured on the rail) will be right at 60 during operation and within a minute of key off drops to ~ 40. Clearly I have a leak somewhere in the fuel line. It initially presented with occasional long cranking about 2-3 months ago. Since the injectors are a challenge to get to, any advice on how to determine if it's a check valve/regulator in the fuel pump or a leaky injector without dismantling everything? There's no active codes or misfires from this, and the engine performance seems good (runs relatively quiet), but I seem to be getting somewhat lower gas mileage ~14-15mpg (100% city driving).

Currently 105K miles, New plugs done at 80k, timing belt 95k, Replaced Evap Vent Solenoid Valve 90k due to code popping up.

Thanks

There is a formal procedure in the FSM to test this that involved blocking parts if the system to isolate them. The most common cause is the fuel pump allowing the pressure to drain back into the tank.

Another solution is to just wait a second or so between the time you turn the key to "on" and the time you crank. It's an easy habit to learn. You can do it as you put in your seat belt, light your smoke or pop your beer (j/k).
