Default 2003 VUE AWD 3.0 transmission fluid leak

I have a 2003 Saturn Vue AWD V6. I believe it is where the ptu mounts to the transmission. Attached are some pictures. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

2003 VUE 3.0L
Default Re: 2003 VUE AWD 3.0 transmission fluid leak

Oy. Bad news first, I guess. Looks like the seal between the PTU & Trans has become marginal. I have never seen this happen, here on the Saturn forums or out in the wild. My 2003 VUE AWD is happily humming along with 205,000 miles and is not leaking (yet). I have changed the trans fluid (T-IV fluid) every 30k miles and PTU every 60k miles since we bought it new in August 2002, not sure if that has contributed to keeping the seals happy.
Unless you have money to burn, time to waste, or the car is really low miles and in excellent condition, it may not be worth the expense to separate the PTU/Trans to fix this. Topping off as needed is the economical solution....
