I click around once in a while to see who's left around, but I haven't logged in for a long time. Surprisingly, I still have both my original Saturns. My '96 SL2 (140k) was my daily driver until my wife got a new Outback. I kept her old '02 L200 (191k) and that became the daily driver.
I drive them both regularly, but sadly, problems are piling up and it might not be worth fixing them much longer. Between a possible head gasket issue on the L200, lots of rust underneath, possible water pump leak and then a coolant leak on the '96 that no one can find, along with possible leaking main bearing seals, I'm becoming less inclined to pay to fix them and less able to do it myself. Other than one L200 I see parked nearby, I hardly ever see either model on the road anymore, so I'm surprised to see so many recent posts. I hope you are all doing well with your cars. Andy |
