Default Headlights stay on - 2001 l300

My headlights stay on even when the car is off and the switch is in any of the positions. This is just the headlights themselves, nothing else stays on. I removed the DRL relay to no avail. The only way I can keep the batteries from draining is to remove the headlight fuses.

What can I do to narrow down the location of the fault? I tried jiggling the switch on the steering column but it didn't do anything.

Thank you very much for your time.
