i just double checked myself in the service dept. at one time it was 3 or 3k. abount two years ago they chan ged to 5 mo 5k. at our stores we generally do it anyway and pay for it out of a fund from selling it. they also have saturn or gmpp oil change program where you pay for x amount of oil changes.

Extended oil drains are bad on a new vehicle. Your car comes with a factory oil meant for break in. Run this 3k miles, get another 3k mile oil change and then start using the OLM.
