You can get it at any autoparts store for like $5.00. However, the window crank is just held on with a little U shaped clip. On any car I've ever owned, you can flex the interior in and hook it with a bent coat hanger.

There is nothing more frightening than ignorance in action.

dang barnowl, i always used the screwdriver and cuss method! i never thought about a bent wire, but after reading that, i know it'll work, and in the future, will be refering to that bit of intel!

I think everyone has them ...I've always gotten them off without a tool, but the tools are handy if you have a stubborn panel......or an Expensive one

Coat hanger never worked for me; wasn't, er, stiff enough. I used a steel barbecue skewer, and bent the last, oh, 1/2 inch or so 90 degrees.

I've always used a rag. Work it back and forth behind the crank, and the clip will pop up enough to remove the crank. A lot of the times the crank will come off as you are working the rag.

thanks guys, I am going to give the rag a try.
I tried the screwdriver and cursing but it didnt fall off
of the rag doesnt work im going to try the coat hanger (actually a bent piece of titanium rod if i have one in the shop). last resort will be crutchfield.
thanks again, I will post which method works.

Ok, I figured it was:
  1. You needed further calification on the original topic. or
  2. You were looking for a reason for the moderator of the site to ban you for a couple days.
