Red and the Medium Green colors

I saw a nice 95 SL2 today in red. Was that a factory color, as I have never seen a red SL2 from that generation.

Also the Medium Green on the 03 VUE & ION, is that the same green found on the 95 and up SL / SW models?

The SC was the color of the SL2 that I saw. It looked factory.

The green used on 95 and up SL/SW models was a dark green. They also used teal, if I'm not mistaken, up until 95.

At any rate, the answer to your question is no. Personally, I think the dark green is a far richer looking color than the medium green that they're using now.

The SL2 pictured is "medium red".
The SC2 pictured is "red".

I have seen a couple first generation (1991-1995) SL2s in the "red" color but I think it must have been a limited edition color. It is not shown as an available color for the SL2 in the 1993, 1994, 1995 Saturn brochures that I have.

There was also a BRIGHT red "limited edition" color for the 97' SL2's (Think Fire Engine) Sorry I have no picture, but you'll know it should you ever see it.
