Default replacing the fabric on the roof

The fabric on the roof of my Saturn, including the sun visors, is cut up, and it also hangs down near the back. I was wondering how I would go about replacing this and where I could get a good replacement.

My mom owns a Saturn, too, and is on some forums, and told me something about dropping the headliner, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing that, and where I would get fabric to match the kind it already has.

Any suggestions?

do a search on recovering the headliner, lots of threads with the info you need. Basically: strip the old fabric & foam, and glue new on.

If you have a fabric store in your town, they will cary a foam backed headliner material. I bought enough to do my headliner and visors for about $40.00

Buy the 3m SUPER trim adhesive. Don't buy the regular. Strip old liner. spray the adhesive on thick. DON'T wait 15 minutes like the can says. Apply it immediatly then cut the sides and your holes to fit after it drys. Do not cut the outside edges by doors evenly with the liner backing. It actualy needs to be overhanging a little. We do about 4 a year and they seem to hold up just fine.
