Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

Hello All,

I'm about to replace my passenger side rear wheel bearing because of a knocking noise when turning.

My question is, the car has rear drums and was curious if the shoes need to removed when replacing the rear wheel bearing. I have never worked on drum brakes and a little intimidated because of the all the springs and parts. Thanks.

I believe I had to at least partially remove them on my van (same setup) when I changed that one. It all depends on what's in the way. If you can remove the bolts without taking out the brakes, do it.
