Default breaking 14's?

n/a 98 sl2 5 speed with auto pcm lol Ill probably get a p&p and shaved head, safcII, but right now its semi gutted (no carpet, roof liner, door panels, trunk fabric, tow bar, a/c delete, spare tire and jack gone. 92 header and a intake with bored tb. I figure if i do this i will still have a reliable car and i will probably do a 50 shot or so but i want to get into 14's without spraying

Get the correct PCM, the car will be faster. You're confusing the auto PCM everytime you let off the gas to shift.

You also may have a slight hesitation when the auto PCM thinks it should be shifting, with my '93 SL2 it was usually between 3k&4k but maybe I'm the only one that's happened to.

Fixed

I'd also recommend getting some sticky tires for the front. Tires are very often overlooked, but can make a big difference in 1/4 mile times. The quicker the tires hookup the better.

Ya, you'll be waiting a LONG time for a 3rd gen from 96-98...
