Strange-Rear Passenger door will not open from the inside

I have a 2003 V6 FWD Red VUE with 9,500 trouble free miles in 5 month. I LOVE this car! I did find a strange problem, the rear passage door will not open from the inside, no matter what I do. The rear drivers side door works fine. Is there some kind of child resistant lock? Or is this a problem for the dealer to fix?
Also the rear doors locks are unable to lock all the doors, only the front doors can do this. Is this normal? I know, I know RTFM (Read the F** Manual)
Thanks hope everyone out there loves their VUE as much as I do!!

there is a child lock switch on the ens of the door, near the latch. A sticker nearby will show which way to turn the white lever with a key to "unlock" it.

Also, I think the rear door locks not locking all locks is a normal thing. I don't think control should be given to a rear passenger.
