Default 07 Vue strut replacement

Yesterday I started replacing the struts and hit a brick wall. The two lower bolts attaching the strut to the spindle assembly are odd ball. Two opposite sides are rounded, two opposite sides are flat. I removed the nuts no problem but couldn't get the bolts out. Of all I changed, once the nuts are off the bolts you can either wiggle or tap them out. Not these. It's almost like they screw in. I used a hammer but it's a solid hit so I stopped. My issue; what the heck kinda socket is made like that and where can it be found? I've a three tier box chocked full of tools but nothing to fit a bolt head like this.

Put the nut on one end of them so you don't mushroom the threads and hit them. They'll come out. They are not designed to unscrew.

I did but I'll give her another try, this time I'll lay into them. They haven't been out since new and with 195k on it, maybe they're a little rusted in place. Still, I've not encountered a bolt with such an oddball head. Must have to do with increasing production time. Thanks for the response.
