2002 SC1
Default SC1 won't stay running

Sorry if this is redundant, I posted it in the wrong place.

I have a 2002 SC1 which has had some charging problems. I had previously replaced the alternator, but that did not improve the situation. If I jump it from my other car it starts easily, however, when you remove the jumper cable it stalls immediately. Are there any other sources of charging problems other than the alternator, i.e. fusable links or relays, or anything else to consider?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

There is a fusible link between the starter and alternator, which provides the connection that charges the battery. If that link has failed, and the battery is weak/dead, this will happen. Also check the battery cable connections.

Also check the battery. If it has a dead cell it can cause the same type of problems.

Is the fusable link between the starter and alternator in the green wire connecting between them?

Thanks

It is the wire connecting them.
