I am jealous of the clean, ready for surgery, engine parts! Few things noticed from the photos.

Did you reinstall the bolt that secured the EGR valve base to the rear engine mount?

Also, what is the long rubber hose routed out and over the front intake module toward the front of the engine? Are you replacing the plastic PVC bridge with this hose? Not a bad idea, those plastic bridges get gunked up.

Rj 2000 LS2,

I haven't secured the EGR or mounted it with the new gasket yet. Thanks for noticing! I already replaced the plastic PVC bridge and the hose you are referring to. It's the only route that worked last time and wanted to route it the same way as I had it when it was running good and efficient!

On the intake side (front of the engine), on the BANK2 side, there is a very small hose that connects intake to a very small module on one of the lower intake's. I think on the injector module. I'm not sure what that is, but it appeared that hose was not connected. There a lot of hose connections after the MAF sensor. Be sure you don't leave anything them disconnected.

Rj 2000 LS2,

Thank you for looking. Are you talking about that very small straw like hose that is black near the throttle body? I did manage to get that in later. It's similar to the blue hose for intake on the square black box.
