Default Vue Newbie, mod friendly

I am new to the Vue community. Long time GM guy. I am currently looking at purchasing my first Vue after test driving a Redline 2005. I've been searching through a ton of the forum notes.

It seems that I can find a lot of AWD, but not many REdline. I like how the redline AWD sits closer to the ground, making it feel more like a large car than SUV.

Just getting idea of suggestions.

1. Saw a 2006 2.2 Stick for $1500 that runs good, obviously leaves room for mods... Maybe SuperCharge? anyone done one?
2. 2005 Redline FWD. how comfortable are these on long trips? Any mods available with the J35A3 engine?
3. 2006 J35A3 AWD - Great color.. Blue, standard. Love to know what I can do to reduce sway and maybe lower so it is closer to the Redline look?

Thanks for any opinions.
