Hey everyone!
So, I've been having issues with my speed senor for the past little while. I bought the car used, so I don't really know its history. Everything seems to be pretty solid on it though. So, I replaced it once back in the summer of 2021 - that lasted about 3 or so months. Replaced it with the cheapest one, still bad. Now, I just replaced it with the most expensive one Rockauto has to offer & it still seems to be causing issues with the speedo/cruise control functions. One thing I did notice is, the sensor sits right on top of the transmission. When you pull out the sensor, you can see right into the transmission it seems. I even extracted some of the fluid (transmission fluid) to check the health of the colour & also confirm that it wasn't gear oil sitting in there. Anyway, maybe there's a short somewhere else? |
