I like it, it's a cool looking car. 2 problems I can see.

It's a hatch. Hatchbacks don't seem to sell well here. I personally think it's a convenient design. I like hatchbacks a lot. That usually automatically kills a trend. Like when I buy stocks.

It's not design specific, but I still think they should keep 1 plastic body car. Like one platform with the quad coupe layout. It's a two door, it's a four door, it's a freak. Refine the ION another generation or two. Something for the faithful. It's served them well, they shouldn't abandon it.

I totally agree with this. If i was saturn i would keep the quad coupe, but make some finer adjustments to the exterior and refine the interior even more in 08 models or later. And make an even more kickass Ion redline. Maybe "IF" they advertised the Ion quad coupe/redline more it would serve them better.

I would dump the Ion sedan and change it out with an Opel compact sedan, a smaller version of the aura or something. The opel astra 5 door looks a little freaky imo. I really think the Astra hatchback can dominate in its class, but most people are already accustomed to Import hatchbacks, so saturn would really have to advertise the crap out of the Astra. Of course, all this is just fantasy, but i really think saturn is rushing out the new models way to fast. The Aura, sky, and outlook are going to be hits, but i have doubts about the Astra and the new Vue.
