Where to find starter bolts or manifold studs?
I was trying to replace my starter today and it turns out the last person who worked on it cross threaded the top bolt and jacked it all up.
Preferably, I would like to replace that bolt with an intake or exhaust manifold stud for ease of service, but nobody seems to have them or be able to get them and everywhere I look is a dead end. If those are completely unavailable, I still need to find a source for a new starter bolt. Any ideas? Any sources? I tried Napa, Cut Rate Auto and Autozone in person and their clerks all said they can't get them at all. Kinda desperate because my Buick chugs over $100 in gas every week taking the kids to and from school. I'd really like to get my saturn back on the road. Thanks! |

I'm in Washington State. If there's an online vendor I'm totally happy picking some up from them, but if there's an in person store with something that would be great too.

GM Saturn 11518152 M8 X 48 8mm Exhaust Stud . Check ebay.
