Saturn vue engine swap help

2005 saturn vue 2.2 manual.
Just swapped out my engine, I believe I have everything hooked up correctly. Currently engine doesnt turn over, I can hear the starter click , but doesnt attempt to turn over engine. Has new battery. I feel I may have some ground wires in wrong place, how many wires go to starter? Anyone have photos ? Or advice of where to begin diagnosis. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thinking maybe a computer issue? No spark, no fuel,I tried hooking up an ob2 scanner , and say unable to link

there should be a smaller wire that activates the solenoid (on s-series it's purple, i'm not sure about vues) and a much larger wire directly from the battery. if you only connected the smaller wire, you would probably get a starter click but no cranking.

After alot of looking around I found a ground wire not hooked up🤷*♂️ current situation is, it turns over but no fuel or spark, also ob2 scanner stil wont link. for a break down the replacement motor is a boneyard motor. They said it was from same vehicle. But as I went along the way ,had to swap out a few things (fuel rail, engine mount, flywheel, *pretty sure engine came out of an automatic instead of manual * I do have service engine light on, any tip or tricks to get me started?

Do you have the correct ECM for the manual transmission??

Is the ECM grounded. There is a ground wire under one of the ECM bolts.

Crankshaft sensor, I believe its located under the starter.
