Arrow a face lift...

Thought you all might appreciate this, ordered a new front emblem yesterday and sent it off across the street to get painted from the clashing red, to black...now it matches my sides

no, I ordered the black side emblems, but I bought a new front emblem and sent it off to get painted...you can't use the exsisting front emblem, it breaks when you pull it off, at least tha's what all the guys up at the shop said.

Okay. How much and who do I have to kill to have my ride with those emblems?
Exclusive of the exclusive, how long did it take: from ordering to painting to
installing? I 've got a couple of hundred bucks(from a photo shoot) to spend on it.

i had it painted one day, and installed the next...it can happen even the same day...you just need to order a new emblem from saturn (or I can maybe get you a deal on that, let me talk to a few people) when you take off the old front emblem, it breaks it, so you need the new one to get painted, then installing it takes less than 30 min...as far as my black side emblems...those were ordered from saturn accessories, they come black. Now if you want your front emblem the color of your car (say you have the silver nickle) all we need is the paint code.

Looks great.
A friend of mine suggested getting a new symbol and painting the entire thing black.....how do you think that would look?

You could just spray the existing emblem while it is still on the vehicle, and avoid buying a new one. The area to be painted is small enough that a can of spray paint would do a nice job.

might look good, on a black car it'd look sort of like a ghost emblem i would imagine, try it out, no harm in trying.
