I went through them both neither or them helped me at all one was ends saying it was a recall and I called my local Buick dealer and it was fixed back in 2014 and the other thread goes nowhere.

I can't find the Electronic Vacuum Pump on my car does the Saturn Sky Redline even have one.

Did you try searching other Sky forums for help?

If I'm not mistaken, the electronic vacuum pump may be used for power assisted braking. Conventional power assisted brakes use vacuum generated from the intake manifold as the engine runs. A dedicated vacuum port, vacuum hose and check valve connects to the brake vacuum boost unit behind the brake master cylinder. The brake vacuum boost unit is a large round black canister. If you are familiar with brake systems, underhood parts, brake lines m etc, then you should be able to trace the vacuum hose from brake boost unit to the vacuum source.

If unfamiliar with vacuum brake systems then try looking under the hood of another vehicle or ask where the vacuum brake hose routing exists. It's always between the brake vacuum boost unit and engine intake manifold port near the firewall, drivers side. Once you've seen the vacuum hose routing on conventional vehicles using engine vacuum, you should be able to trace your vacuum hose from brake boost unit to vacuum source. Only one hose exists, isn't shared with other miscellaneous devices requiring a vacuum source.
