2009 Astra XE
Default Vehicle Communications Interface Module (VCIM)

Does anyone have the service manual for Saturn Astra? Where is the Vehicle Communications Interface Module (VCIM) [i.e. OnStar module] is located in Astra?

Thanks

From the manual:

Vehicle Communication Interface Module (VCIM) - Right
In the passenger compartment, right side of the instrument panel, above the I/P compartment, below the VCIM battery

Well I'm new here, but I don't think that's going to be what you guys have been looking for. Look under the LEFT side of the dash, to the left of the steering column, should be a big cast module, about 5 or 6 times the size of whatever that is that you've pulled out. Should have quite a few connectors and an antennae going to it. I believe that's the one you're after. Attached a pic of it, didn't bother pulling it out, car's too cold to do that to yet, don't wanna break any plastic.
