Default Blue vs Pink Washer Fluid

This is probably a stupid question, but I have to ask... Is there any difference between blue and pink windsheild washer fluid?
Can the two be mixed?

I'd mix them.......

Blue is the normal stuff.

I think the pink stuff has a lot more alcohol in it so it won't freeze.

One is blue and one is pink. Depends on supplier. On the whole what you want is the freeze point in the winter and the bug cleaning in the summer.

And regardless of color, check the freeze points. Around here at least I often find stuff with freeze points almost as high as water, being sold in the winter.

I use Rain-X washer fluid in my Ion. The green stuff is for spring, summer and fall when I need its bug-carcass cleaning ability and the pink-orange stuff is for winter when I need it to remain liquid below 32F to combat salt, grime and road spray.

One costs more than the other, and both do the same thing.
I stock up on the cheaper blue when I find it on sale.

They use a color dye in all of them, so it really does not matter.

I moved from Florida to Illinois back in August and did not even think about it until all may cars froze over. Never even notices the freeze points on the stuff before now.

Finally got a couple of warm days last week and poured some of the <0 degree stuff in two of my cars.
