Default Re: What to do for performance

What I did for my 02 SC2 for performance was install a K&N replacement air filter that increased the throttle response by a little bit. The next thing I did was do a rear disc swap from drums. If you ever do a rear disc swap, you'll need the parts from a 91 to 98 Saturn with ABS. The latest thing I did was install some Maximizer 4-2-1 stainless headers which opened up the bottom and high-end torque. I did have to dent in the oil pan and a portion of the downpipe to ensure that contact wouldn't happen.

Get yourself prothane inserts for the dog bones. (eBay)
I have used them on all my Saturns.
Doubtful you will ever have to replace them again.

Blainer Preformance on eBay also has some options for motor mounts, as well is other “performance” related things

I would message them though their Facebook page of you actually want something. There is a lot they sell that’s not listed on eBay, and can sometimes be cheaper too.
