Default 03 Vue Replacing O.E.M Rocker panel with Red Line Rocker Panel

Has anyone replaced the Black Plastic Rocker Panels With RedLine Pre-Primed Rocker Panels & Painted to Match Body Colour.

I did replaced once under warranty year ago with the O.E.M, but only lasted about 1 winter with the salt & gravel on the streets.

It's not that cheap to do bothside included the door corner pieces, they are about $1,200 canadian dollar included paint finish to match.

The Service Manager was very kindly & helpful that they will cover $800 under warranty and I have to pay around $400

If anyone done it, please advice how it stand out.

i really like the running boards that replace those black rocker panels that Saturn offers. They r by far the best looking boards for the Vue but they're so expensive!

Based on your comments about your rocker panels being destroyed after a year by the salt & gravel on the roads in the winter, I'd assume you live up North, way up North, like maybe Canada, eh? Oh, wait, you did say Canadian dollars... lol

I went to Michigan over Christmas and I got all that crap all over my Red Line. I know that the RL trim below the door sticks out from the car considerably more than the regular Vue. It tends to act like a little shelf, and it catches dirt, rain, grime, snow, mud, etc. You have to be careful not to drag your pants on it when getting in and out. If you're having problems with winter conditions destroying your lower panels, I really don't recommend the ones from a Red Line. You'll destory them even quicker, I'd imagine, since they aren't painted and they stick out further and so you just catch more crap on them.
Tupperware cars FTW!!!
