Saturn convertible

Did a double take today, just saw a brand new SC2 Saturn convertible on the road, it was red with a white convertible top. Must be customized...it was a beautiful car!

The white top made it look really clean and crisp...maybe some difficulty keeping it clean. I saw the car in Eagan, Minnesota...South of Minneapolis/St Paul. If Saturn built it, it would be a sure fire winner...a relatively inexpensive sporty convertible...great college or for an old guy like me.

I know that ASC out of Michigan did a convertible show/study car for Saturn back in the 1993 time frame. Production was not approved due to cost and weight increase, hey all that structural support from the roof had to replaced with structure some where. Maybe they decided to give it another shot and what you saw was a study. Then again, if you were willing to part with the coins, I am sure that there are a number of companies out there willing to make a drop top for you.
