This question is for 1994 saturn sw2 automatic
Windshield wiper does not work but rear wiper works ... so am trying to eliminate problems... 1. is that a separate fuse for front and rear wipers? 2.if rear is working does that mean switch is ok? do you think its most likely wiper motor that is bad? how do I make sure.....it is motor and nothing else? |

Listen for the motor and if you hear it, then the transmission nut needs tightened. If you are lucky that is the only problem. Richpin has a video of how to get to it.

I had the same problem but in the reverse. My front wipers worked but the rear didn't. I was about to order a motor until I stumbled upon a thread from this wonderful site on google. Turns out the wires can come apart in the wiper control on the steering column. And that's exactly what happened. I pulled it apart, soldered the wire back and it worked like a charm!!! Check that along with what Anmasher said
