I recently had to remove the column to remove the dash to fix the recirc main door to the actuator. Of course I had to remove the stubborn upper bolt buried up above between the mounting bracket. How in the H-B Jeever's did the factory get that bolt in there ?! So far it's next to impossible. I had to remove the Wiring loom plastic guide by the brake pedal to even get close enough to the bracket and STILL can't get it. I'm not even sure what bolt came out of it, so I found a smaller bolt, washer and nut to try and slide it thru and just put a nut on the other end with Still no success. I never got the one on my L200 back in a few years ago either, I just put in the 2 bottom ones and called it good. Had the same issue then. I may have to just Forgettabboutit !, unless anyone has any Sure Shot way than what I know, or can see, which is another problem. It's a little wobbly right now. Bolts are as tight as I can get them. Thanks for the advise.

I agree that top bolt that comes in from the back is a pain. I think I used a wobbly socket and an extension and said a few choice words. With the seats out I can lay on the floor with my head by the pedals. It is a very awkward position to work in.

Exactly, I was thinking about that way as well. As long as I have the seat out, I may as well give it a good vacuum too. lol. There's always some Varmint Goodies under there. A little cold out, but I can fire up the garage heater.
